The mission of Durham Connects is to increase child well-being by supporting parents through community resources.

Growing healthy babies is a community responsibility. A child's "brain architecture" is developed through early experiences. It's up to us to ensure that kids' brains are wired with positive experiences for a solid foundation and a healthy, happy life. A healthy child, is a healthy adult, and that benefits us all.

We provide free in-home nurse visits for parents of newborns in Durham County. As the program phases in, we currently serve families whose babies were born on an EVEN birthdate.
